Inspirations

I spend a lot of time thinking about systemic change. The kinds of ideas I describe on this site are always rippling through my mind, and they shape how I see and experience the world. I think about these ideas daily–they’re not always in the front of the mind, but they’re always there. Every once in a while I come across something that inspires me–an article, a line from a movie, a book, a person. Some of these things help me understand my own thinking and put my ideas in context. Others are clear illustrations of the issues I’m thinking about. And some of them are just confirmation that I’m on the right track!  🙂

I hope this list of inspirations helps shed some light on the context for my ideas and my overall quest to try to make the world better through systemic change. And I hope some of these might also inspire others, or at least add some sparks of clarity to these issues that sometimes seem so complex.
